We created a program for scripting your map in Call of Duty World at War.
It will create your gsc's csv's csc's and all the files you need
for your FX, Sounds and Loadscreen.

Now that you have Call of Duty: World at War, and you want to start modding, you need to download and install the Mod Tools.
* Download and install the Mod Tools 1.0.
* Install Mod Tools 1.0 using the installation instructions down below.
* Once completed, download and install Mod Tools 1.2. ( you do not have to download and install 1.1 )
* Now download and install Mod Tools 1.2.1.
* Following the installation of 1.2.1 download and install Mod Tools 1.3.
* After installing Mod Tools 1.3, download and install Mod Tools 1.4.
* Follow the instructions for running Converter and you're good to go!

usualy, a skybox setting can find parts only from all model. :(

I have idea.. want make ...... and they spawning is custom heads, clothes and weapons
However, when all the soldiers spawning as a clones (identical), it looks very strange. 8)
how to spawning soldiers with different heads soldier, different uniforms and different weapons (singleplayer).

we have actor "Cpl. Jackson" (standing beside the player on moment starting the map) and when the map started then we need "Cpl. Jackson" run to another place "location_buker" after 6 seconds after started the map.
Next when this "Cpl. Jackson" get the "location_buker" he is actor (model) do hided or delete.. I don't know how correct this do it?

When I run over a tunnel then I touch trigger_radius (or trigger_multiple) and it launches two effects:
- effect of shaking ground in (targetname = location1) on my map (with ability to setting force in time of shaking again),
- FX little fall dust from ceiling.
I understand that this trigger gives the command to start for the effect of shaking
and FX little fall dust from the ceiling when the trigger activited.
Advise me please.

This Tutorial will try and explain how to add a plane to your multiplayer map.

First we need a model. I used "vehicle_jap_airplane_zero_fly"
Place the plane model were you want it to start ( *tip* make it start and end far off map but still inside the skybox, this will ehlp with the disapearing problem; )
Place a script orgin under the plane model and deselect it
Is there an accepted preference for making walls? I'm talking about brick/stone/cement barrier walls for the edges of the maps and to provide obstacles?
I imagine using patches gives more options as far as making curved walls, but in cases where they are straight, does it have any impact on how you choose to construct them?
I've had this problem for a while. A few maps I've downloaded won't load by selecting them in the map select screen and pressing start, they only load by typing /devmap and the mapname in the console.
This happens on mp_cw_strasbourg, mp_frenchvillage and 2 or 3 others. This sux, because you can only play them by the devmap command, so the only mode I can use is free for all, which is a bummer.
Well now it's happening on a map I'm making. I'm making a map called mp_breaking_point. compiled my map, and go to select it in game, and same thing, it will only load by typing devmap mp_breaking_point.
So I took my new map, renamed it mp_room, and now it loads properly.
Any Ideas how to fix this?
still have a problem when i compile my map my mini map shows up in game but on my first map it shows up in the team select window before spawning
have no idea how i got it done iv edited the map stable as shown in mini map tutorial but have i done it right my map says _desk where it should say mp_kill_kirtz and there is a flash window beffor team selection that says bipod ect
it is not like that for normal maps is it?

this map has been a long time in the making started out being called mp_luvulongtime and its sure been that
five years and nearly done after raisng infant who is now 4yrs ols
could anyone please recomend a free app, that does what photo shop does. that will also have the required plugins ect, for creating custom images, for cod world at war. loadscreens and custom textures.
adding the mp_gamtypes and not quiote sure where im supposed to put the sd_bombtriiger.map
partly because im not sure of its function within game
it says put it out of play doers that mean out of the playable area of map or just away from the spawns or objective,
so far im assuming its the explosion script activater. also are there any k/v im supposed to add to the nuke_a and nuke_b ext as with domination gametype
hi back again does anyone know where i can find a moon flare to use in world of war map to add and use in the sun file iv tried the tutorials and it just places a big default textured square in the sky
so im guessing im missing the file or sprite or whatever its called to make the sun look like a moon
i had placed a dog actor in kennal for scaleing a dog pound i made, when it spawns its either freindly or not it just stands where its placed growling or panting, looking left and right.
but when you add kill streak dogs to the map, it becomes active so i test the dogs in devmap and get attacked by the one unfreindly dog that started to roam the path nodes for the dogs,
intersting little kaos mode i thought, it doesnt respawn once killed
I'm trying to perfectly align a texture around a corner, and am trying to alt+middle click and nothing happens. Alt is not working.
The keystroke of shift is default action applied to the middle mouse click....
