Activision has just released a brand new Behind-the-Scenes trailer for Black Ops 2. This trailer features the theme music composer ?Trent Reznor?, and co-writer ?David S. Goyer? discussing the development of Black Ops 2.
To create a game like Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Treyarch assembled some of the greatest talents in the world. David S. Goyer (co-writer of The Dark Knight Rises), Trent Reznor (Academy Award-winning composer of The Social Network), join Studio Head, Mark Lamia and the game?s Director, Dave Anthony, to discuss the relationship between movies, music and games, as well as the creative process behind Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Activision and EA are each set to unleash brand new gameplay trailers for both Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Medal of Honor: Warfighter this Saturday, May 19th, during the UEFA Champions League Final.
CVG uncovered this image revealing the impending release of another Black Ops II trailer this Saturday.
It?s unclear, however, what exactly will be unveiled in this trailer. Could we see more of the same? Maybe some multiplayer or zombie footage? Though highly unlikely, we can always hope.As for Medal of Honor, AskMen have a sneak peak of the brand new Warfighter gameplay trailer which you can check out here. It seems to similar footage found in the first gameplay trailer, but hopefully we?ll see something new this Saturday.
What are you hoping to see in the Black Ops II and Warfighter trailers this Saturday?
Now that the big reveal for Call of Duty: Black Ops II is complete, I got a chance to talk with Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia about horses, failing missions, branching storylines, and Vahn’s secret past. We even tackled that fan-favorite “what engine is this game using” question. We talk for a good 40 minutes, so it’s worth hearing. And it’s a thrill to be able to post this show due to the nasty tech problems we endured, but Kat and Hugh do appear as well, to discuss MW3 PC DLC, Bond villains, MW3 PS3 DLC, Jack Black, MW3 360 DLC, The Avengers, Prototype 2 DLC, Skylanders updates, Family Guy, and a Spidey preorder perk that Hugh actually likes. Plus, a monster truck rally breaks out at a dance concert.

Treyarch?s Black Ops II marks the series? first move into the future, but it also raises questions about the ongoing relationship between Activision and Infinity Ward. Over two years ago, details regarding the lawsuit began to appear publicly. One such detail stated that Call of Duty titles set after Vietnam would be exclusive to Infinity Ward. We recently obtained some court documents (which you can see below), and it appears that this clause was indeed included in Infinity Ward?s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
As you can see in the MOU excerpt above, Infinity Ward had the rights to all Call of Duty games set in ?modern day (post-Vietnam), the near future, or distant future.? With Black Ops II?s 2025 setting, it?s clear that Treyarch went with the near future setting anyway.

The next Call of Duty, highly likely to be Black Ops 2 from Treyarch, will debut on Tuesday, May 1, Activision's confirmed.
That's according to the redesigned CallofDuty.com, which promises a "world reveal" during the North American basketball playoffs on TV channel TNT.
Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg has previously said of this year's Call of Duty: "This year we expect to further expand our presence with the launch of an all-new epic first-person shooter title under the Call of Duty brand. From what we've seen to date, the game already looks fantastic and will bring meaningful innovations to the franchise."
It's looking more and more like this year's Call of Duty is going to be a sequel to 2010's Black Ops.
A retail source forwarded the following image from a poster received today.
It's been widely speculated that this year's Call of Duty game will be a sequel to Black Ops, which was developed by Treyarch.
Also, the framing narrative for 2010's Black Ops was a debriefing where elements of a massive secret conspiracy were revealed so the text on the poster could be referencing that.
Also, the date on the poster is most likely a reveal date and not a release date. Call of Duty games typically come out later in the year to take advantage of the busy holiday shopping season.
In February, a French video games site found themselves banned?and then unbanned?from Activision events after reporting that a Black Ops sequel would arrive in 2012 after an Amazon leak earlier this year. That overreaction led many to think that the information in the leak was right on the money.
