Hey i have the Mod tools and all the updates from 1.1 to 1.4 but melvin said theres an easy way to install and set them up i looked on WIKI didnt see much on installling them from 1.1 any help would be appreciated and if you need me to come on you Teamspeak ill will http://www.codutility.com/images/icones/smile.gif thanks in advance

here is the tool install order, post back if you have problems...

* download the Mod Tools 1.0.
* Install Mod Tools 1.0.
* Once completed, download and install Mod Tools 1.2. (you do not have to download and install 1.1)
* Now download and install Mod Tools 1.2.1.
* install Mod Tools 1.3.
* After installing Mod Tools 1.3, download and install Mod Tools 1.4.
* Follow the instructions for running Converter and you're good to go!

sorry for the bump, but I'm lost, I cant find 1.0 and ... download anywhere, the wiki had links but most just led to websites and not the actual download link. Are there any install files? the winrar's are pissing me off.

alright, I think I got all updates and things of the modtools, but I can't find many things for example the window boards for a zombie map. Also when I compile the map I get a lot of errors, and the map has no sound except for some guns.

Ok so I believe I am doing something really wrong, when I compile my level I get millions of errors, and then when I run the map, It says something about not finding nazi_zombie_heros, and I have to exit the game. It is weird because I got the zombie map to run before, but after adding a table and a magic box into the map, nothing works. Here are just a few errors that show up in Launcher.

BTW: Does the cod5 modtools have a misc. prefabs folder with a bunch of prefabs in it like cod4 did? Or do you just have to pick from xmodels and clip them?

I also get an error with converter, something about the mp_unit_scale not being found.

You have a lot of tutorials about CoD5 mapping in the Codutilitywiki.com.

The list of errors you put don't help as we don't know what you are doing exactly.

If you add more info and your csv, gsc and the steps you did probably be more helpful to give an answer.

When you run the converter the first time before you made your first map, did you got errors?

Hi guys... this is another problem about erros but didn't open a new topic for it.

I've been banging my head to trees for few days...

I have installed tools "by the book" but when running converter the very first time (should be done at least once, I've heard) the converter stops because of error.

Error message looks like this:

What I understood there's one bracket too much or missing somewhere.
That other one error list of running converter by "mythicalmeowmix" tells me that problem is somewhere in light.gdf or locdmgtable.gdf, but can't find what's wrong with them...

Never heard this kind of error? This is a bit new territory for me...

One question... why to run converter? Does it have something to do with using textures and other properties of the maps already in use or what?
