if you create a new folder in your site FTP called ( for example ) redirect and add all your maps there then in your config you add the link:

http://www.yoursite.net/redirect

It should work.

The redirect folder must be placed in the root of your site, where is your index.php file.

I agree with http://www.yoursite.net/redirect but make sure that you have the name of the file as well. It should be contained within a .rar or .zip etc.

So it should look like what Capt put plus what I have added.....

http://www.yoursite.net/redirect/mapname.zip (etc)

ok tryed both however i am not tring to redirect it for our gameserver i am tring to link it from our website to our website downloads like you have here but on a smaller scale some of our members are from the uk and all over the world and ask for us to put them on our website so they may download ahead of time before we add them to game servers usermap folder. again i thank you for your time capt and kojak it is greatly taken.http://www.codutility.com/images/icones/champion-1er.gif

You dont need to use the folder named "redirect".

You can name your new folder in the root /maps or /downloads etc. That is entirely up to you.

A newer and perhaps better example would look like this.....

http://www.yoursite.net/maps/mapname.zip

or

http://www.yoursite.net/downloads/mapname.zip

This will accomplish what you are looking to do for your members. This should give your members when they download it the map inside the zip or rar file that they can extract into their game folder. This will have no connection to the actual game server since the download is coming directly from the website via the ftp folder.

Contact me via PM if you require more assistance getting this working. http://www.codutility.com/images/icones/smile.gif
