I have been working on a map for quite some time now. I have been using all of these from mp_farm

ent.v[ "delay" ] = -1;

the ones that say noise, well let me say BS, they do not give noise lol. so after watching all I could and straining my ears to listen, I do have a soundaliases file now a soundfx file and I found a sound file in main/08 i think w/e its amb_farm_rain_day0v3_lsrs.mp3 with the sound of rain but have no clue how to get it into the map and it PISSES ME OFF! everything works except the sound any advise or help out there?

Read my tutorial for rain and thunder. It has a lot of common information that might set you on the right path. Pay special attention to the various files that have to be adjusted.

To get amb_farm_rain_day0v3_lsrs.mp3 to play I think you include:


ambientPlay("ambient_farm");

in your main map .gsc below


maps\mp\_load::main();

I'm not sure about the other stuff though

To get amb_farm_rain_day0v3_lsrs.mp3 to play I think you include:


ambientPlay("ambient_farm");

in your main map .gsc below


maps\mp\_load::main();

I'm not sure about the other stuff though

I have to do this a different way due to I have the ambientplay crossfire already being used
but I will check that out too!
